The present stateIn early April, eight participants submitted their competition entries. The jury decided upon the outcome of the competition on April 25 and 26, 2007 in Tripolis. Sponsor of the competitionGreat Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, represented through the ODAC (Organization for Development of Administrative Centers).
SiteThe site is a 240 ha area located in the south of Tripoli. The area is traversed by the Airport Highway, which connects the city center with the international airport in the south.
Project contentIt is intended to develop an administrative complex of approx. 700,000 sqm GFA in 30 buidlings for the government of Libya.
ProcedureThe competition is a single stage urban design and architecture competition with an application procedure.
