| State of affair | On March 31, the senior experts selected the entry by Ortner & Ortner, Berlin, with RTKL, London, for realisation of the Sonae Center. For the DEGEWO area at the Voltairestreet (the hotel) it was decided to recommend a cooperation with the Team GNA Architekten, Berlin and LaGuarda & Low, Dallas.
On March 17, 2003, the six participants have submitted their proposals on which the experts will judge on March 31, 2003.
On February 3, 2003, the procedure was started, on Monday, February 10, 2003, a colloquium took place in Berlin. |
| Background and procedure | Sonae Imobiliária (SI), in coordination with the Senat Department for Urban Development, is managing a tender selection process with the following objectives:
-To confirm a design direction that will be used in establishing the new zoning plan for the project site.
- To identify a design team to work wih SI in developing the design of the project through to construction.
